Writing Tools: General Techniques 1: Researching 1

There will be as series of techniques for general writing coming up and so keep abreast and view each with your own discretion. Your choices determine the writer in you, and I begin with researching techniques.

Researching Techniques:

Many times we know there are wealth of resources around us like the web, physical libraries, bookshops, magazine retails and a friend's inventory. The challenge may be how do we harness and pace it down to fruit.

The first researching technique is to catch these resources. Search for keywords on the search engine. Use Google if you please and you can go under Books, News, Journals and more in the Header (Top Left Hand Corner). Most Dependable sources are in these publications.

Once you hit what is relevant to your topic, bookmark them. Have a number of references. If the subject is high in demand, search for 10 sources at least as they are easily available. Keep this within half an hour. Do begin wherever you are.
